7x12TA Reduced Height - Ol' Bob's Modifications
7x12TA Reduced Height – When we last left off Ol’ Bob had gotten his 7x12TA Reduced Height Trailer home and test fitted his prized T-Bucket. Everything turned out as planned. It was time for Ol’ Bob to turn his attention to the modifications. He had plans to secure the T-Bucket for its maiden voyage. If you missed the 1st part of this story you can see it here. It should also be in the sidebar ,on your right, under Recent Posts (Scroll Down).
7x12TA Reduced Height - The Layout
The first step for Ol’ Bob was to layout the design he had planned. This started with configuring the tie-down system and the recessed battery box to power the control center Ol’ Bob was going to build and install into an Overhead Cabinet.
Overhead Cabinet & Electronics
Phase II consisted of building the Overhead Cabinet and the Electronics Control Panel needed to distribute power and house the CD player. Everything needs to be laid out just right for Ol’ Bob.
Paint & Tread
Phase III – It’s really starting to come together now. Time to paint the walls & floor and put down the runners to assist in lining up the wheels. Then the D-Rings can be permanently secured. This is critical for securely tying down the wheels to safely transport the T-Bucket.
Maiden Voyage
Phase IV – Time to strap down the prized T-Bucket and go for a test run ahead of the maiden voyage to Wichita, Kansas. Ol’ Bob has left nothing to chance. Everything has been checked and double checked. All that’s left is to load her up, strap her down and hit the road.
